Overview

Oil-cooled e-drives spray cooling oil directly onto motor windings and bearings while lubricating the reduction gears — and that oil is supplied by an electric oil pump. Unlike a mechanical pump, its speed is independent of vehicle speed, so oil can be metered precisely by temperature and load.

The EOP series integrates a gerotor pump, brushless motor and controller in one housing and talks to the vehicle thermal management controller over CAN FD or LIN, for both battery-electric and hybrid platforms.

  • Oil on demand

    Speed follows motor temperature and load, cutting churning and drive losses compared with mechanical pumps.

  • Cold start

    Start-up algorithm tuned for viscous cold oil — starts reliably at -40 °C and builds pressure quickly.

  • Highly integrated

    Pump, motor and controller share one housing; the oil also cools the motor windings. Compact and easy to install.

  • Automotive-grade design

    Validated for endurance, vibration, thermal shock and EMC to automotive requirements (certification details to be confirmed).
