Overview

High-speed gearboxes rely on forced lubrication: the pump continuously feeds pressurised oil to every gear mesh and bearing and carries away friction heat. If oil supply stops, the tooth oil film can break down within moments.

The GL-E series is aimed at wind turbine main gearboxes, industrial reducers and similar duties. It can be driven directly from a gearbox shaft (attached pump) or by a motor as an independent or standby pump; bidirectional versions keep delivering in the same direction when the input shaft reverses.

  • Strong suction when cold

    Optimised inlet passages and tooth form build pressure even with viscous gear oil at cold start.

  • Bidirectional option

    Integrated reversing valve block keeps the outlet direction constant when the input shaft reverses — ideal for shaft-driven pumps.

  • Low-noise gearing

    Profile-modified gears and relief grooves reduce trapped oil and pressure pulsation.

  • Rugged

    Ductile iron housing, case-hardened gears and plain bearings for long continuous duty.
